The HOTEL SCHLOSS MÖNCHSTEIN***** is situated on top of the Mönchsberg, in the centre of Salzburg and offers an amazing view of the Salzburg city.
Housed in the beautiful, historical castle surrounded by a fabulous park with more than 15.000 m² of meadows and trees, the Hotel Schloss Moenchstein in Salzburg offers the combination of old tradition and state of the art design and modern technique.
Starting from 2007 the hotel offers a spectacular restaurant with a view over Salzburg and a luxury spa.
The panorama-restaurant sparkles with its glass facade and an extended terrace with a fabulous view overlooking Salzburg. The famous chef and his team offer first-class Castle cuisine with refined Austrian dishes and a wide choice of wines.

The hotel features 24 exclusive rooms and suites completely renovated referring to the tradition of the ancient castle. All rooms are furnished with antiques and equipped with a marble bath room, cable TV, radio, direct dial phone, modem data port, ironing board and mini bar.

The example of the extraordinary atmosphere of the castle is the large, exclusive "MARIA THERESIA" apartment decorated with original paintings of Maria Theresia and Kaiser Franz Stephan von Lothringen-Habsburg, and antique Murano chandeliers. It features a huge bathroom and the magnificent bed with canopy. The 30 m˛ private terrace opens an incomparable view of the castle park and the old town.

Orangery "APOLLO" and Panorama terrace "APOLLO" with a wonderful view over Salzburg or into the park welcomes you for light dishes or for classic and fancy drinks. For bigger gatherings and functions the terrace can be sheltered with a tent roof and consequently becomes a very special location.
